Google Talk on Information Retrieval I went to a Google talk on Aritificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in Information Retrieval. The speaker Mehran Sahamai was quite interesting. He talked about a whole range of applications that in which they use Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning against the entire Internet to produce results that would improve searching mechanisms. I thought the talk went quite well and it was one of the best CS talks to that I've been to in my undergraduate career.  ¶ 8:25 PM
